Problem of Practice: How does the integration of deep reading practices and comprehension skills contribute to the enhancement of writing acumen?

Our change idea was to analyze quotes chosen by students from their KBAR (independent reading) books.

- Students will choose a quote that stands out to them while they are reading.
- We will do a quick write where students analyze why the quote stood out to them and what about it enhances the story.
