Extracurriculars and X-Blocks

During the winter high school soccer season, I serve as the Junior Varsity head coach to JV1 and JV2 girls soccer teams at a local high school. I have been at this role for 2 years now and love coaching the girls! I am lucky to have found a position that combines my love for soccer and my love for working with kids.

My writer's retreat x-block is something I offer out of my own passion for writing. As a middle schooler myself, my friends an I wrote a shared book and I used my own free time to journal. Now, I offer a calm, focused writing space where anyone can work on their writing. Students can work on personal creative pieces, daily writing prompts that I provide, or their own writing assignments for school.

In the spring of 2023, I offered macrame for the first time. I learned alongside the students how to create with the art of knotting! Some things we created in the first semester of macrame were keychains, wristlets, plant hangers, and wall decor.
